The King Philip Music Association (KPMA) is honored to present renowned jazz musician, composer and Plainville, MA native, Jeremy Udden as he returns to the area to perform a benefit concert for the King Philip Music Programs.  Jeremy will perform selected songs from his recently released CD entitled, “Plainville".   This is his latest project and it features a “jazz meets folk meets indie rock twist”, while serving as an ode to his Plainville upbringing.  The line up will include Udden on the sax, backed by a unique combination of pump organ, banjo, bass and drums.  The Vancouver Province has praised the music as “some of the freshest sounding jazz to appear in some time”

Udden began playing the saxophone at age ten and started performing regularly on the Boston club scene at 15, while still a student at King Philip High School in Wrentham.  In High School he was also a member of the All-American Grammy Band as well as the KP Jazz, Concert and Marching Bands. Now a Brooklyn, NY resident, Udden performs frequently around New York and in the past year, the West Coast, China and Scandinavia.

This one night only event will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 7:00pm in the KP High School Auditorium, 201 Franklin, Street, Wrentham. Tickets may be purchased in advance by clicking on the flyer to the left, and mailing in the linked order form.  If purchased in advance the ticket costs are $15 for adults and $5 for students (K-12) and senior citizens. Tickets may be available at the door on the day of the show; prices will be $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.  For more information please contact kpmusicprogram@yahoo.com.
